Mr. Allan C. Taute Sr.

Mr. Allan C. Taute Sr., 60, of Gouldsboro,Pa., formerly of Staten Island, NY, passed into eternal rest on Sat. May 4th at The Lehigh Valley Hospital Center Inpatient Hospice Unit, 17th & Chew St. Allentown, Pa. He was the husband of Laura A. (Cacciotti) Taute. They were married for 42 years last December 26, 2018. Born in Staten Island, NY on Friday, September 19, 1958, he was a son of the late Emil & Josephine (Scarpulla) Taute. He was of the Catholic Faith. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a truck driver and held a membership with Teamsters Local 282, New York.  He enjoyed his loving wife & family, NY Yankees Baseball, Crabbing, Fishing, Shooting, and working with his metal detector. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Tara, wife of James Grover, of Lehighton, Pa., a son, Allan Taute Jr. & his wife Jamie of Staten Island, NY, 2 sisters, Jean, wife of Tom Feeley of Toms River, NJ, Robin Ariyakia of Staten island, NY, a brother, Freddy Taute of NJ, 3 grandchildren, Victoria, Nicholas, Brandon, ( 1 grandchild on the way), nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Dawn & 2 brothers, Richard & Billy. A Celebration Of Life Service in his honor will be held on Wed. May 8th at 11 a.m. at The Andrew P. Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton, Pa. with Deacon Joseph Wilhelm officiating. Call 10-11 a.m. Wed. The interment will be private. Online condolences can be offered at www.ovsakfh.com
