Mildred A. (Bubick) Felten

Mildred A. Felten, 90, of Mahoning Twp., PA, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 in her residence. She was the wife of the late Dr. Thomas Felten who passed away March 01, 1992. Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late John and Katherine (Kuharska) Bubick. She was employed as a nurse for Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital in New Jersey until her retirement. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church, Lehighton. She was a graduate of Lehighton High School, then furthered her education and graduated from Franklin Nursing School in Philadelphia. Mildred loved to read.

Surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter Ann Elizabeth Felten, sisters Anna Bubick and Josephine Mermon and brothers Walter, Edward, Anthony, Michael, John, and Joseph Bubick.

 A Mass of Christian Burial in her honor will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 11 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, 3rd & Coal St., Lehighton, PA 18235 with the Rev. Christopher M. Zelonis officiating, assisted by Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm Jr. Call 10-11 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Interment following the Mass in the parish cemetery, N. 4th St., Lehighton.
