Meagan A. Wentz, 33, of Palmerton, entered into eternal rest Sunday, April 24, 2022 in the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania. She was the fiancé of Marcus Salabsky. Born in Lehighton, she was the daughter of Lisa (Fink) Wentz of Palmerton and the late Stephen J. Wentz. She was employed as a teacher for Behavioral Health Associates in Lehighton where she was proud to be a teacher. She was a graduate of Lehighton High School Class of 2006 and a graduate of Bloomsburg University Class of 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with honors. She was a member of Faith Alive United Methodist Church, Palmerton. Meagan had a love for life. She enjoyed spending time with her fiancé, family, and friends. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle, hiking, kayaking, gardening, music, and art. She also loved to cook and travel. Meagan will be remembered as a kind hearted person who would put everything aside to help others.

Surviving along with her fiancé and mother are a paternal grandmother Patricia Wentz of Virginia; maternal grandparents Richard and Ellen Fink of Parryville, Pa; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by a paternal grandfather James Wentz Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 @ 2:00 P.M. in Faith Alive United Methodist Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton, PA with Pastor Robert Timlin officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. in the church.
