Mary Ann (Rex) Moyer

Mary Ann Moyer, 76, of Weatherly, formerly of Lehighton passed into eternal rest on Thursday, April 29th at Weatherwood. She was formerly married to Roland Moyer and was the former companion of the late Russell “Speedy” Zellner. Born in Lehighton Pa. on Friday, Nov. 3rd, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Edwin & Lula (Reichard) Rex. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the garment industry at Scotty’s Fashions and served as a housewife/homemaker. She formerly attended church services at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Mahoning Valley and was a former member of Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club. Surviving are 3 daughters, Sheila M. Ulshafer & her companion, Frank Kew of Beaver Meadows, Diana Moyer of Lehighton, Christiane, wife of Kyle Strohl, of Jim Thorpe, a sister, Dolores Stuckley & her companion, Danny Sebelin of Lehighton, a brother, Clayton Rex & his wife Nancy of Lehighton, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Bernetta Ginder, and a son, Robert Moyer. Funeral Services & Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
