Marlene E. Ruch, 85, of Mahoning Valley passed into eternal rest on Jan. 10th, 2026 at The Mahoning Post Acute Nursing & Rehab Ctr.. Born in Lehighton, she was the daughter of the late Delroy V. & Myrtle M. (Mertz) Ruch. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at the Keystone Lamp Factory and also worked as a telephone operator and in the the secretarial/clerical field.She was an active member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Packerton. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching Lehighton Indians and Philadelphia Eagles Football games.Surviving is a brother Richard E. Ruch of Emmaus, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Delroy V. Ruch Jr. Funeral Services will be held on Thurs. Jan. 15th at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 4th & Iron St., Lehighton with LLM Emma Weaver officiating. Call 10-11 a.m. Thursday. The interment will be private at a later date. Contributions in her honor may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
