Marion M. Gombert, 82 of Lehighton, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2022. Born in Parryville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Fink and Arlene (Hibbler) Fink.
Marion, along with one sister and three brothers, was raised in The Methodist Home for Children, 4300 Monument Road, in Philadelphia, now known as Methodist Services. She later attended Lehighton High School.
Marion was a sewing machine operator in various factories in the area. She also was a cafeteria worker at the Lehighton Area Junior High School.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Gombert, Lehighton, son Brian Gombert (Steven Lynch) Woodbury, NJ, son Michael Gombert and his wife Kelly, Lehighton, two grandchildren, Erin and Matthew Gombert, Lehighton, as well as brothers Richard Fink, Garry Fink and Joseph Fink, and sister Gayle Schafer. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Carl Fink, Robert Fink, Wayne Fink and sister Dolores (Fink) Jarrett.
Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her name can be made to Methodist Services, 4300 Monument Road, Philadelphia, PA 19131.
