Marie A. Keegan, 98, of Lehighton, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 13th at her residence. Born in (Packerton) Lehighton on Sunday, December 14, 1919, she was a daughter of the late William E. & Margaret A. (O’Donnell) Keegan. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a sewing machine operator at Peerless Mills Lehighton. Marie was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Walnutport, Pa. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family and tending to her garden. Surviving is a sister, Margaret E. “Peggy” Bayer of Lehighton and close neighborhood friends. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, William J. Keegan, Edward J. Keegan and her loving brother in law, Frank Bayer. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 18th at 10 a.m. at The Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home, 190 South 4th Street, Lehighton, Pa. Call 9-10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment in SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, North 4th Street, Lehighton.
