1929 - 2024

Lorraine Logue, 95, passed into eternal rest on Monday, June 10, 2024 at the home of her son in Jim Thorpe, PA. Born in Lehighton on April 9,1929, she was the daughter of the late Harold Serfass and Florence Hettig Serfass. She was the wife of the late James G. Logue who passed away on November 7, 2022. Jim and Lorraine were married on June 20, 1959 in Philadelphia and would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this year. Lorraine had worked mainly as a bookkeeper at several businesses during her lifetime: TastyKake in Philadelphia, and local businesses: the Times News, Moyer & Haupt Ford and Lehighton Ford. She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church. Lorraine had a love of horses and raised several in East Penn Township with her husband Jim for many years. She was also a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan and was looking forward to another season of successfully managing her 5 fantasy football teams this year.

Surviving are 2 daughters: Dianne Minnich of Douglasville, GA and Patricia (Ryan) Rohn of Montfort, WI, and 1 son, James G. Logue Jr. of Jim Thorpe PA, sisters: Lucille Clay and Sandra DiGenova; brother, Philip Serfass; sister-in-law Jane Serfass; grandchildren Amanda (John) Crider, Lindsay Minnich, John (Jessica) Minnich and Valerie (Ross Gundlach) Hand; and great-grandchildren, James Michael Crider, Andrew Crider and Ella Minnich.

She was predeceased by her brother, Jerry Serfass; brother-in-law Darrell Clay; stepmother Stephanie Valent Serfass and her son-in-law, Robert Andrew Minnich.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, 260 North 3rd St., Lehighton, PA 18232 with Rev Ronald Minner officiating. Call Friday morning 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. in the church.  In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted in her name to the church. The Andrew P.
