Lois E. Fisher, 84, of Mahoning Township, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Thursday, Sept. 12th at The Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Pottsville, Pa. on Thursday, Dec. 7th, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Harvey & Angeline (Adamcik) Fisher. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a secretary for The Lutheran Publication House, Philadelphia. Pa. Lois attended Temple University where she was a member of the marching band and played the piano and oboe. She was an active member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mahoning Valley. Surviving is a sister, Carol A. Houser of Mahoning Valley, 3 nieces, 1 nephew, & grandnieces & grandnephews. A Celebration Of Life Service in her honor will be held on November 16th, at 11 a.m. at The Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton, Pa. with the Reverend Anthony P. Pagotto officiating. Call 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment in St. John's Cemetery, Mahoning Valley.
