Linda L. (Bryfogle) Gombert

Linda L. Gombert, 79, of Parryville, entered into eternal rest Monday, April 8, 2024 in her residence. She was the wife of the late Larry A. Gombert who passed away August 22, 2020. They were married for 51 years until Larry’s passing. Born in Franklin Twp. on January 1, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Arthur E. and Christie E. (Borger) Bryfogle. She was employed as a button sewer for many garment factories throughout the area until her retirement. She was a member of St. Peter’s UCC, Parryville. She was a graduate of Lehighton High School Class of 1962. Linda enjoyed reading, spending time with her cats, and feeding her chipmunks and squirrels.

Surviving are two daughters Shelly A. and April A. both of Parryville; a sister Ruth Roeder of Breinigsville; a nephew; and 3 great nieces.

She was also preceded in death by sister Shirley Faber.

A Memorial Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. in the Parryville Cemetery, with the Rev. Eric Hoehn officiating. Donations will be accepted in her name to the Carbon County Friends of Animals, 77 W. 13th St., Jim Thorpe, PA 18229. The Andrew P.
