1939 - 2026

Lea Bess Frendt, 87, of Lehighton, entered into eternal rest Thursday, April 2, 2026 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Lee M. and Bessie M. (Koons) Beers. She was employed as a seamstress for the former Scotty’s Fashions in Lehighton until her retirement. She was a graduate of Lehighton High School. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lehighton, and was a past worthy matron of the former Gnaden Huetten Chapter of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are a son Trance and his wife Stephanie of Lehighton and 3 granddaughters Kayla, Heather, and Olivia. 

She was preceded in death by a daughter Tanya Lubben, a sister Helene Hontz and a brother James Halpin.

Funeral Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in Packerton Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at www.ovsakfh.com.
