Kevin (well known as “Harpo” by family and friends) was born in Palmerton the middle son of five boys to the late George Zellers Sr. and the late Ilene J.( Rehrig) Zellers Mertz on October 11, 1963 . He attended Lehighton H S. After HS Kevin served in the military with the US Army. He was employed at Supply Technologies in Fogelsville ,and previous employed with Alan Kunsman roofing and siding Freemansburg as masonry laborer along side his brother Mark ,as with numerous other businesses .Kevin was an avid hunter and fisherman. He absolutely loved his sports .. the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Phillies. He was a a prior member of the Lehigh Fire co # 1 Lehighton, the Orioles Nest 183 Lehighton where at both places he played on pool and dart leagues and also played for numerous baseball leagues . As a young child he grew up with all his siblings and cousins on a farm his Pappy ran raising horses and small farm animals for his grandchildren. Kevin loved kids and would give his shirt off his back for any kids, always babysitting his siblings kids and taking them fishing or hunting ! Loosing him at a young age, he will truly be missed by family and manyfriends . Kevin is survived by brothers George Jr and his fiance Lisa of Lehighton ,Todd wife Shelly of Lehighton , Mark ,wife Mary Lehighton and Thomas ,wife Stacie Seattle Washington . Nephews Shane, Zach, Dillan, Jeremy ,Dallas. Nieces Nicole and Alexis. Predeceased by a nephew Shawn. He is also survived by his close cousins Belinda Hettler who he resided with , Ricky Rehrig, Carson Blose ,and Milton Berger . Kent ,Karen Zellers ,Helen Moyer. Kevin comes from a very close family and we will miss his teasing and raging over his Cowboys. May you finally be at rest Kevin and your breathing is at ease now! A gathering to celebrate Kevins’ life will be private at families wishes in the near future .
