Kathy J. (Souders) Souders

Kathy J. Souders, 70, of Parryville, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Sunday, November 24th at The Hospice House Of The VNA of St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Township, Pa. Born in Palmerton, Pa. on Tuesday, October 11th, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Robert & Ruth (Hill) Souders. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an accounts payable clerk at The Palmerton Hospital & later served in the same capacity at The Gnaden Huetten Hospital. Kathy was a very active member of St. Peter’s United Church Of Christ, Parryville, Pa. She served as the church secretary and was a member of the church consistory,  choir,  cleaning crew and was responsible for the printing of the Sunday bulletins. She enjoyed traveling years ago and did ceramics, crocheting, and loved going to K-Mart & Wal-Mart to do some shopping. Surviving are 2 sisters, Beryl A. Souders of Parryville, Suzanne I., wife of Robert Clements Jr. of Parryville, 1 niece, Sara Clements and her companion Chris Fenelon, 1 nephew, Robert Clements III & his fiancé Jen Mease, 2 great nieces, Olivia & Quinn. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 29th at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S, 4th St., Lehighton, Pa. with the Reverend Joseph A. Lachcik officiating. Call 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment in Parryville Cemetery.
