Joseph M. Hancharick Jr.

Joseph M.. Hancharick Jr., 61, of Lehighton passed into eternal rest on Tuesday February 16th at his home. Born in Lehighton on September 2nd, 1959, he was a son of the late Joseph M. and Marlowe J. (Mertz) Hancharick Sr.  He was of the Catholic Faith. Joe was most recently employed by KW containers in Fogelsville as a warehouse supervisor. An avid animal lover, he volunteered his time with area animal shelters. Surviving are 2 sisters, Anna Marie Hartzell and her companion Jerome Strohl of Lehighton, Donna Lee, wife of Wayde Tyler of Honesdale Pa., 2 brothers, Fred Hancharick and his companion Jamie Simon of Parryville, Patrick J. Hancharick and his wife Cynthia of Weatherly, nieces, nephews and a great niece. A graveside celebration of life service in Packerton Cemetery will be announced in the future.
