Harry E. “Ike” Eisenhower III, 67, of Mahoning Township, passed into eternal rest on Friday, Jan. 8th at his residence. He was the husband of Dawn M. (Steigerwalt) Eisenhower. They were married for 42 years last Feb. 18th, 2020. Born in Lehighton, Pa. on Sat. April 11, 1953, he was a son of the late Harry E. & Jean L. (Drumbore) Eisenhower Jr. “Ike” was a 1972 graduate of Lehighton Area High School where he was an outstanding wrestler under coach Rollie Alger. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a structural ironworker (Local 36), with many years of employment with Lehigh Valley/Tri City Erectors. He was of the Christian faith. He was a Life member of Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club and loved hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his family. Surviving in addition to his wife Dawn is a daughter, Lisa, wife of Anthony Perry of Lehighton, a son, Lee Eisenhower & his companion Gretchen Kelly of Breinigsville, Pa., a sister, Kelly Hall of Missouri, 2 grandchildren, Damian & Dallas Perry, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Chris, & Milton Eisenhower. Funeral Services & Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
