Mr. George A. Hahn, 88, formerly of Lehighton, passed away, Wed. Feb. 19th at Forest Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Ctr. Weatherly, Pa. He was the husband of the late Janice L. (Kasten) Hahn who passed away Dec. 27, 1996. Born in Lehighton, Pa. on Sat. March 21, 1936, he was a son of the late Clarence & Marguerite (Strauss) Hahn. Prior to his retirement, he was a Dealer Principal at Hahn & Son's Dodge Automobile Dealership in Lehighton. He served our country with the Army National Guard 165th MP Battalion with 9 years of service and was activated during the Berlin Crisis. George was a member of the former St. Peter's EC church in E. Weissport, and was currently a member of Trinity EC Church in Berlinsville, Pa. He was an active antique automobile enthusiast/Judge and held memberships with the Ontelaunee Region AACA, The Packard Club, & The Studebaker Club. He held memberships with the Lehighton Fire Co., The Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Co. & The Lehighton Ambulance Association. Surviving are 3 daughters, Sharon L. Bowers & her Fiance' Dale Troxell of Andreas, Jayne L. Bayer (Gregory) of Florida, Lisa E. Salomon (Neil) of Lehighton, 4 grandsons, 7 Greatgrandchildren, Nieces & Nephews. he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Hahn, a sister, Ellen Light, and an infant daughter. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 25th at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 South 4th Street, Lehighton, Pa. with the Rev. Ken Schira & Chaplain Scott Reiman officiating. Call 9-11 a.m. Tues. at the funeral home. Interment in the Lehighton Cemetery.
