Fred C. Kemmerle

1960 - 2024

Fred C. Kemmerle, 63, of Lehighton, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 09, 2024 in the Mountain City Health and Rehabilitation Center, Hazleton. Born in New Jersey, he was a son of the late Frederick C. and Carol A. (Davis) Kemmerle. He was employed as a security guard for the former Gnaden Hutten Hospital in Lehighton for 25 years until his retirement.  He was a United States Marine Veteran. He was a 1978 graduate of Marian High School. He was a member of SS Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church, Lehighton. He was also a social member of the Lehighton Fire Company and a member of the Jaycees. Fred was an avid bowler.  
 

Surviving are sisters Danielle wife of Christopher Brennan of Florida, Jill Grover of Weatherly, and Lori Vincent of Lehighton; brothers Terence Kemmerle of Lehighton and Wayne Kemmerle and his wife Mary.
 

He was also preceded in death by a brother Scott and infant daughter Lisa.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, March 15, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in SS Peter and Paul’s Catholic Cemetery, North 4th St., Lehighton, PA with Chritopher M. Zelonis officiating. Military services will follow under the direction of the Lehighton UVO. Memorial contributions in his honor may be made to SS Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church, 260 N. 3rd St., Lehighton, PA 18235.
