Ellen L. Fink, 85, of Parryville, entered into eternal rest Monday, February 24, 2025 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus. She was the wife of Richard S. Fink. They celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on January 2nd of this year. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Eurana (Rehrig) Frohnheiser. She was employed as a seamstress for many garment factories throughout the area until her retirement. She attended Palmerton School District and was an active member of Faith Alive Church, Palmerton. She was as a life member of the Parryville Fire Company and was an election poll worker in Parryville. Ellen enjoyed cooking and baking cakes for many birthdays and wedding celebrations, but especially loved the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Surviving along with her husband are daughters Tamra Poust of Lehighton, Dana Cannariato of Lehighton, Lori Solt and her husband Mark of Ashfield, and Lisa Wentz and her significant other Mike Kearney of Palmerton; a sister Sylvia Gruber of Aquashicola, PA; brothers Roger and his wife Debbie of Lehighton and Randy and his wife Sharon of Palmerton; grandchildren John Fisher III (Farrin) and Derek Solt (Jayleen); step grandsons Alexander and Justin Cannariato; great grandsons John Fisher IV, Tret and Brok Solt; step great grandchildren Isabella Collotty, Emma Hertweck, and August Hertweck; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a son Guy A. Frohnheiser, granddaughter Meagan Wentz, sisters Dolores Rex and Paulette Frohnheiser, and brothers Harold, Robert, and Edward Frohnheiser.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 3, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton, Pa with Pastor Robert Timlin officiating. Interment will be held privately. Family will receive friends Monday morning form 10-11:00 A.M. in the Church.
