Dorothy A. Coombe, 91, formerly of Lehighton, entered into eternal rest Sunday March 24, 2024 in the Forest Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Weatherly. She was the wife of the late Martin T. Coombe who passed away September 07, 1984. Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late George and Hilda (Beers) Wright. She was employed as a clerk for the Carbon County Courthouse until her retirement. She was a member of Zion UCC Church, Lehighton. Dorothy was a graduate of Lehighton High School.

Surviving are sons Jeffrey and his wife Joanne of Ohio and Douglas and his wife Ashley of Georgia; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a son Dennis C. Coombe and a brother Norman Wright.
