Dolores V. Ockenhouse, 82 of Lehighton, entered into eternal rest, Monday December 29th, 2025 in her residence. She was the wife of Lamont Ockenhouse. They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on January 30th of this year. Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Myrtle (Miller) Snyder. She was a graduate of Summit Hill High School, class of 1960.  She was employed as a seamstress for Scotty’s Fashions and Barson and Bishop Company’s in Lehighton until her retirement. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lehighton. 

Delores loved the sun and swimming with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid Quilter, Gardner and loved making Christmas cookies for her family. 

Surviving long with her husband are a daughter Ruth Mary Giannott of Hazleton; grandchildren Matthew Allen Keiper and his wife Paige, Amanda Lynn Umbriac and her companion Traian Jovanov, and Amy Louise Keiper and her companion Roberto Plasencia; and 9 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by sisters Thelma White, Irene Stack, and 2 infant sisters; brothers Leroy, Robert, and Claude Synder; and a son-in-law Anthony P. Giannott.
