Mr. Dean F. Andrew, 79, of West Penn Township, passed into eternal rest on Tues. June 18th at his residence. He was the husband of Susan J. (Reeser) Andrew. They were married for 60 years on Feb. 15th of this year. Born in Weissport on June 3, 1945, he was a son of the late Russell & Esther (Nothstein) Andrew. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a laborer at Tarkett Industries, Fullerton, Pa. He was of the Lutheran faith. Dean was an active Life member of Lehigh Fire Company #1, Lehighton. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Renee Ahner of St. Clair, 2 sons, Leonard & Todd Andrew of Tamaqua, a sister, Kay Hamm (Larry) & a brother Darryl Andrew (Barbara) all of Andreas,4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Marilyn Ahner, Shirley Walck, Dorothy Muthard, & brothers, Donald, Richard, Nelson, Barry, Junior, Willard, & Robert Andrew. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 24th at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak Funeral Home, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with SALM Emma Weaver officiating. Call 10-11 a.m. on Monday. Interment in Franklin Heights Memorial Park, E Weissport, Pa. Contributions in his honor may be made to Lehigh Fire Co.#1, 140 S. 3rd St., Lehighton, Pa. 18235.
