Christine (Baker) Musante, 81, of New Ringgold, PA died May 25, 2025. She was the wife of John L. Musante.
She was born May 20, 1944 in Glen Ridge, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Lillian (Kent) Baker. Chris graduated from Horseheads (NY) High School in 1962. Shortly after graduation she enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. During her two years in the USAF she served in Texas and Nebraska. While in Nebraska she met and married her husband of 61 years, John L. Musante.
In 1974 Chris graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in accounting. Over the next 30 years she worked for Chess King in Worcester, MA, Fitchburg Ford, Wyman Gordon in Worcester, and as town treasurer for Hubbardston, MA.
Chris enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, variety puzzles, gardening and travel. Over her lifetime she visited 40 of the 50 U.S. states, Mexico, Bermuda, several Caribbean Islands, eastern Canada, Egypt, all of the British Isles, and countries along the Rhine and Danube Rivers in Europe. In the U.S. she was extremely fond of Key West, FL.
Chrisine is survived by her husband John of New Ringgold, PA, her sister Gail Diener and her husband Carl of Binghamton, NY, along with two daughters Jennifer Giordano and her husband Scott of Fitchburg, MA, Gina Musante of Lehighton, PA, grandson Noah Giordano, granddaughter Natalia Giordano both of Fitchburg, MA, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by both of her parents, her stepmother Mary Baker, and her son-in-law Dan Laughlin.
