C Dean Miller

Mr. C. Dean Miller, 93, of Nesquehoning, Pa. formerly of Lehighton, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Wed. Jan. 15th at Maple Shade Meadows, Nesquehoning. Born in Elysburg, Pa. on Tues. Nov. 17th, 1931, he was a son of the late John & Evelyn (Fahringer) Miller. Prior to retirement, he was employed by  East Stroudsburg University as a science department secretary. Dean was of the Methodist faith and was a member of The United Methodist Church Of Elysburg. He was an avid gardener. Surviving are nieces & nephews-Dennis Miller, Sandra Miller, Steven Miller, Cindy Strausser, Joyce Ann Lindenmuth, Donna Snyder, Faye Hlavaty, Kaye Miller, Melanie Heckel, Carol Zartman, Gwen Good, Matthew Enoch, & Anita Heff. He was predeceased by sisters, Marie Smith, Joyce Strausser, Wanda Enoch, brothers, Mervyn Miller, Jack Miller, Milfred Miller, Kenneth Miller, Charles Miller & nephews, Paul Strausser & John Smith. Funeral Services will be held on Wed. Jan. 22nd at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak Funeral Home 190 S 4th St., Lehighton with SALM Emma Weaver officiating. Call 10-11 a.m. Wed.
