Boy Edgar

Mr. Boy Edgar, 67, of Lehighton, Pa., passed into eternal rest on Sat. Feb. 20th at The Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Diane K. (Hunsicker) Edgar. They were married for 36 years last Dec. 19th. Born in Lehighton, Pa. ,on Wed. June 24, 1953, he was a son of the late Dournoff H. & Betty  Lou (Burkhardt) Edgar. Boy was a US Army veteran. He served our country during the Viet Nam War. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at Northampton Concrete Form as a construction laborer. He was of the Lutheran faith. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and held a membership at Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching motor sports. Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 daughters, Tracy A., wife of Charles Hartman, of Lehighton, Kimberly Edgar of Bethlehem, a son, Cory Hunsicker & his wife Melissa of Lehighton, a sister, Melody Nenscel of Palmerton, 2 brothers, Danny Edgar & his wife Linda of Lehighton, Terry Edgar & his wife Vicky of Beltzville, 6 grandchildren, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Gail Smith. Services & Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
