Mr. Barton R. Cannariato, 60, of Franklin Township, passed into eternal rest on Sunday, October 3rd at St. Luke’s Hospital-Anderson Campus, Bethlehem, Pa. He was the husband of Dana M. (Fink) Cannariato. They were married for 12 years last December 27th, 2020. Born in Clifton, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Robert J. & Joan (Michnowicz) Cannariato. Bart graduated from Haverford High School, Class of 1978. He was most recently employed as an independent insurance agent. He attended church services at Faith Alive United Methodist church with his wife Dana and was a member of The Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company where he assisted with their fund raising events. An avid Angler, he was a member of The Lehigh River Stocking Association and enjoyed fishing for Steelhead in Lake Erie. He had a great compassionate love to cook for his wife and enjoyed growing & picking flowers for her as well. He enjoyed spending time with his loving chihuahua, Layla. Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 sons, Alexander Cannariato, stationed with the US Navy at Great Lakes, Illinois, Justin Cannariato of Jim Thorpe, Pa., a brother, Scott Cannariato & his wife Carol, of Exton, Pa., & a nephew, Scott Cannariato. A Memorial Celebration of Life Service in his honor will be held on Friday, Oct. 8th at 11 a.m. at Faith Alive UMC, 678 Pine St. (Bowmanstown) Palmerton with the Reverend Robert Timlin officiating.
