Barbara M (Cunfer) Miller

Barbara M. Miller, 97, of Mahoning Valley, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Monday Jan. 2nd at The Mahoning Valley  Nursing & Rehab Ctr. She was the widow of the late Kenneth Miller, Arthur Johnston, & Richard Lindner Sr. Born in Mahoning Township on Tuesday, July 14th 1925, she was a daughter of the late Amandus & Myrtle (Aton) Cunfer. Prior to her retirement she was employed at Sensinger’s Greenhouses and previously was employed as a secretary for Cossman Block Company. Barbara was a member of Faith Alive UMC, Bowmanstown and previously held a membership with the Mahoning Grange. She enjoyed baking, crocheting and spending time with her loving family. Surviving are 4 sons, Richard Lindner Jr., Gene Lindner & his wife Sandra, Paul Johnston & his companion Missy Blocker of Lehighton, Ross Johnston of Palmerton, a stepson, Sam Miller, a son in law William Booth, 8 grandchildren, 13 Great-grandchildren, 1 Great-great-grandson, Nieces & Nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia Booth, a grandson, Brian Lindner, 4 sisters, Florence Roth, Anna McCroskey, Ethel Cunfer, Clara Berner, 7 brothers, Warren, Charles,  Robert, Russell, Warren, Eddie, & Freddie Cunfer. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service in her honor will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Faith Alice UMC, 678 Pine Street Palmerton (Bowmanstown), Pa. with the Rev. Rob Timlin officiating. Call 9:30-11 a.m. in the church. Interment in Dinkey Memorial Cemetery Ashfield, Pa. following the service. Online condolences can be offered at www.ovsakfh.com
