Atty Ronal F. Austin, 80, of Lehighton, passed into eternal rest on Tues. Sept. 29th at The Summit Nursing & Rehab Ctr., Lehighton, Pa. He was the husband of Rose Marie (Mayernick) Austin of Philadelphia. Born in Bradford, Pa. on Sept. 1, 1940, he was a son of the late Francis & Marjorie (Gerber) Austin. Ronal served our country as a 1st Lt. in The US Army during the Viet Nam War. Prior to retirement, he practiced law in the Burlington, Camden, Salem areas of New Jersey, & Philadelphia, Chester, & Bucks County areas in Pa. Ronal held an Associate’s degree in Earth Sciences from Thomas Edison University, a BS degree from the University Of Cincinnati, attended Rutgers University, and received his Law degree from Delaware Law School, Division of Widener University. He was a member of SS Peter & Paul RC Church, Lehighton, a former member of the Mahoning Township Lions Club, The Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club, and volunteered for AARP. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Denise of Wisconsin, 2 sons, Kris & his wife Kathy of Florida, Frank of N. Carolina, 2 stepsons, John Pellecchia & his wife Barbara of Phila., Joseph Pellecchia of Michigan, a sister, Carol, wife of Asa Dickinson, of Palmerton, 3 brothers, Marc & his wife Lisa of Va., Vohn & his wife Lora , Kenneth & his wife Marva of Delaware, 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Funeral Services & Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Contributions in his honor may be made to SS Peter & Paul RC Church, 260 N. 3rd St., Lehighton.
