Mr. Stephen M. Vrablic, 84, of Lehighton, Pa., passed away, Sunday, June 9th at St. Luke’s Hospital-Lehighton. He was the husband of Jeanette H. (Herman) Vrablic. They were married for 62 years on February 23, 2019. Born in Lansford, Pa. on Friday, December 21, 1934, he was a son of the late John & Anna (Kostelnik) Vrablic. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a crane operator for No. 1 Construction in Pittston, Pennsylvania. Steve was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lehighton, and held Life memberships with The Lehighton Orioles Nest #183, and The Lehigh Fire Company #1. A family oriented person, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviing in addition to his wife is a daughter, Kim, wife of Gary Schleicher of Lehighton, a son, Jeffrey Vrablic and his wife Mary Jo of Lehighton, 2 sisters, Betty Robertshaw of White Bear, Judy Lapos of Bethlehem, a brother, Robert Vrablic of Summit Hill, 4 grandchildren, Dillon Vrablic, Jarrett, Jason, & Judd Schleicher, 6 great-grandchildren, Cole, Hunter, Kaylee, Kenzie, Bryn, Blake, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson Scott S. Vrablic on Feb. 10th of this year. Funeral Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
