Ruth Mildred (Beltz) Cerny

Ruth  Mildred Cerny, 93, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital Gnaden Huetten Campus. Born in Palmerton, Pa. to the late James & Minnie (Dotter) Beltz, she was the widow of George Cerny. Ruth’s work history included jobs at the Bowmanstown Diner, Grants Dept. Store and West Bow Sewing Mill. Ruth was an active member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mahoning where she enjoyed Sunday School and volunteering on the kitchen committee. She was a member of Gnaden Huetten Chapter Order of The Eastern Star. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Kistler and her husband Paul. Grandchildren Lucas & Elyse. Son Kevin and his wife Debra. Grandchildren Michael and William. Son Darin and his wife Mari. Eastern Star Services 9:45 a.m. Wed Oct. 31st at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton. Funeral Services at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Christopher DeForest officiating. Call 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Fireline Rd., Bowmanstown, Pa.
