Mrs. Sharon Hottenstein Obituary

Mrs. Sharon L. Hottenstein, 71, of Weissport, Pa. passed away Wed. April 11th at St. Luke’s Hospital-Lehighton. She was the wife of Andrew T. Hottenstein. They were married for 39 years on March 17th of this year. Born in Morristown, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Howard & Bertha (Kemmerer) Palmer. Prior to her illness, she was employed as a circuit board assembler for Viking Injector, Nesquehoning, Pa. Sharon was a very active member of St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, E. Weissport where she volunteered her time with the church worship & music committees and the church Altar Guild. She was a member of The Lehighton American Legion Post 314 Ladies Auxiliary, The Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club, & The East Penn Sporting Club. She enjoyed spending time and was proud of her family: 7 children, Constance Miller, Cheryl Miller, Jill, wife of Todd Parsons, Ronald Miller Jr., Stephen Miller & his wife Dawn, Troy Hottenstein, Marc Hottenstein & his wife Sara, 12 grandchildren, Crystal, Wendy, Kathryn, April, Saige, Brandon, Hanna, Kayla, Ryan, Logan, Joel, Noah, 6 great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Blayr, Kyrra, Pazly, Atreyu, Leo, all of Lehighton, 2 brothers, Robert Palmer of Walterboro, South Carolina, Alvin Palmer & his wife Angie of East Stroudsburg, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Howard Palmer Jr. A Celebration Of Life Service will be held on Monday, April 16th at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with the Reverend Michael A. Frost officiating. Call 9:30-11 a.m. on Monday. Private Interment. Memorial Contributions in her honor may be made to St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 222 Church St., Lehighton, Pa. 18235.
