Mrs. Rita G. (Quigley) Zellers

Mrs. Rita G. Zellers, 86, of 101 S. 1st St., formerly of Todd Lane, Lehighton, passed into eternal rest on Saturday, April 20th at The Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of the late James G. Zellers who passed away July 3rd, 1990. Born in Jim Thorpe, Pa. on September 20, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Michael & Helen Schoff Quigley. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the garment industry at Scotty’s Fashions. She was of the Catholic Faith. Rita enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid reader. Surviving is a son, Brian K. Zellers & his wife Aimee of Litchfield, New Hampshire, a daughter, Patricia, wife of Michael Coppie of Jim Thorpe,  a brother, Michael Quigley & his wife Sylvia of Lehighton, a sister, Mildred, wife of Van Clark of Tamaqua, 2 grandchildren, Crystal, Damien, 3 great-grandchildren, Amber, Patrick, Ashley, a great-great-granddaughter, Willow, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sisters, Barbara Holland, Pauline Schuck, & 4 brothers, Daniel, James, William, & Thomas Quigley.
