Mrs. Marie R. Hill

Mrs. Marie R. Hill, 67, of Franklin Township, passed away Tuesday evening January 29th with her loving & caring family at her side. She was the wife of the late William J. Hill Jr. who died on January 1, 2016. Born in Camden, NJ, Feb. 10, 1951, she was a daughter of the late George & Georgiana (Redgate) Green. She was a graduate of Mastbaum Technical School, Philadelphia, and was a graduate of LCCC in medical billing & coding and earned her real estate license from LCCC as well. She previously worked as an office manager at  for Pioneer Limel in Philadelphia, & Scotch Maid in Weissport-a division of Sara Lee Corporation. She retired from Aetna US Healthcare in Allentown as a billing specialist. Marie was a member of SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Lehighton. She was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and a family oriented person. She enjoyed traveling, & family trips to the casino’s & to her shore house in the Villas in New Jersey.  She was always a loving wife, mother, & sister. Surviving is a daughter, Rebecca J. wife of Michael Bamford of Jim Thorpe, a son William J. Hill III & his wife Erin, of Lehighton, 2 sisters, Regina, wife of Robert Farrell, Cathy, wife of Robert Green of Philadelphia, 3 brothers, George Green Jr. & his wife Terry of NJ, Richard Green & his wife Loretta, Patrick Green & his wife Bonnie of Philadelphia, a sister in law, Holly Hill & wife Mia of Philadelphia, nieces & nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 4th at 7 p.m. at The Andrew P. Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with Deacon Joseph Wilhelm officiating. Call 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday. The interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial Contributions in her honor may be made to The American Cancer Society, 712 S.
