Mrs. Marie E. (Moser) Frable

Mrs. Marie E. Frable, 66, of Lehighton, passed away Thursday, August 23rd at The Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Kevin D. Frable of Lehighton. They were married for 19 years last Sept. 30, 2017. Born in Lehighton on April 16th 1952, she was a daughter of the late Charles & Elizabeth (Utsick ) Moser. Marie was employed at the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital Lehighton for over 35 years where she worked in the hospital housekeeping department and later was employed as a secretary in the X-ray/Imagining department. Marie was an active member of Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church, Lehighton where she assisted with the church dinners. She served the Lehighton Community as an election poll volunteer for many years. She was a member of The Lehighton Orioles Nest #183. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling, shopping, and spending cherished time with her family, especially with her granddaughter Mischa and her canine friend, Bentley. Surviving in addition to her husband Kevin, is a son Dennis R. Smale II of Palmerton, , 2 sisters, Barbara, wife of George Morris of Arizona, Julie, wife of Gary Christman, of Lehighton, 2 brothers, Gary Moser & his wife Deb, of Wilkes Barre, John Moser & his wife Melissa, of Lehighton, a granddaughter Mischa Smale, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased 3 sisters, Agnes Stahler, June Nothstein, Anna Murphy, & 3 brothers, Robert, Charles & Ricky Moser. A Celebration Of Life Service in her honor will be held on Wednesday, August 29th at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 South 4th St., Lehighton with the Reverend Jeff Stansbury officiating. Call 9:30-11 a.m. at the funeral home. The interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
