Mrs. Lori J. Snyder, 54 of East Penn Township passed away Friday, March 24th at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s, Bethlehem, Pa. She was the wife of Robert T. Snyder. They were married for 36 years last September 27th 2016. Born in Lehighton, Pa. she was a daughter of Janet (Kasten) Horn of Lehighton and the late LaMar Fronheiser. She considered the late Bernie Horn her father/dad. Prior to her illness, she was employed at Blue Ridge Pressure Castings as a machine operator. She previously worked at Fegley’s Fastfill Mini Market in Lehighton. She was of the Lutheran Faith. Lori was a member of Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club. She loved spending time with her family, friends and cooking for the local football players and developed the secret BBQ sauce recipe for the “Have Pig Will Travel” family catering business. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling to Canada to fish with her husband Bobby & the family. Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Erin Snyder of Lehighton, 3 sons, Scott & Matthew Snyder of Lehighton, Daniel Snyder & his wife Elliana of Minnesota, 2 sisters, Debbie, wife of Thomas Steigerwalt, Melissa Primer of Lehighton, 3 brothers, LaMar Fronheiser Jr. & his companion Krista Matika of Lansford, Brian Horn & his companion, Charity, Richard Horn of Lehighton, a step sister, Ann Formica of Tamaqua, 2 stepbrothers, Bernard Horn Jr. & his wife Darlene of Lehighton, Joe Horn of Hazleton, nieces, nephews, &  Dexter, the family yellow Labrador Retriever. She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Horn. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, March 28th at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with the Reverend Dr. Jennifer Bannerman officiating. Call 9:30-11 a.m. at the funeral home. The interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
