Mrs. Helen Irene Keiser, 93, formerly of 342 Mahoning Street, Lehighton, passed away Saturday, July 8th at the Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Curtis D. Keiser who died in 1987. Born in Weissport, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Theodore & Grace (Hall) Rodgers. Prior to her retirement in 1985, she was a millworker for Scotty’s Fashions, & Drumheller’s Mills. Helen was of the Lutheran Faith. She was a member of Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club. Surviving are 3 sons, Paul Keiser & his wife Donna of Martins Creek, Elmer Keiser & his wife Nancy of Lehighton, John Keiser & his wife Judy of Slatington, a daughter, Sylvia, wife of Gary Serfass of Delaware, 2 sisters, Betty Sauchinitz of Lehighton, Louis Swartz of Florida, 2 brothers, Warner Rodgers & his wife Diane of Lehighton, Lamont Rodgers & his wife Marilyn of Lehighton, 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, JoAnn Rosetta, & 3 brothers, Bill, James, & Lester Rodgers. Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
