Mrs. Bertha V. (Olsommer) Neeb

Mrs. Bertha V. Neeb, 82, of Union Hill, Pa., passed into eternal rest Tuesday, December 4th at The Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of Nathan Edwin Neeb. They were married for 61 years on October 4th 2018. Born in Stroudsburg Pa. on Saturday, April 4th, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Walter & Evelyn (Hayes) Olsommer. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the garment industry as a sewing machine operator for Pam’s sportswear and later assisted her husband at Penn Hill Furniture. She was a member of Jacob’s United Church Of Christ, Weissport, Pa. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her husband & family, embroidery & crocheting. Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Dennis A. Neeb & his wife Lynn of New Ringgold, a daughter, Lydia Neeb of Florida, a sister, Nancy, wife of Larry Borger of Aquashicola, a grandson, Dana Mertz, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Peggy. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 10th at 11 a.m. at The Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home, 190 South Fourth Street, with Mrs. Eunice F.
