Mr. William P. Ramer Jr., 65, of Palmerton, Pa. passed away Wed. Feb. 7th at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown. Born in Palmerton, Pa., he was the son of the late William P. Sr.& Katherine (Perich) Ramer. He was employed as a forklift operator/general laborer for the federal government. He served our country with the US Air Force during the Viet Nam War. An active firefighter, he served as a Lieutenant for the West End Fire Company and volunteered with the Palmerton Fire Police. An avid car enthusiast, he held a membership with the Palmerton Crusaders Car Club and enjoyed watching Tony Stewart & Jeff Gordon on the NASCAR circuit. In his spare time he could be found watching the Philadelphia Eagles and taking care of his pet Schnauzer’s. Surviving are his care givers, Darrin & Stacey Goldberg, & Jennifer Litchauer. Prayers will be held on Wed. Feb. 14th at 10 a.m. graveside in The Towamensing Cemetery, Fireline Rd., Palmerton followed by Military Honors under the direction of The Palmerton Area UVO.
