Mr. Martin Dolinsky Jr., 71 of Somerville, New Jersey, passed into eternal rest on Thursday, March 28th at The Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Somerville, New Jersey. He was the husband of Maryann (Lauda) Dolinsky. They were married for 19 years on June 16, 2018. Born in Palmerton, Pa., on Friday, December 12, 1947, he was the son of the late Martin and Elizabeth Dolinsky Sr. He served our country with the United States Army in Viet Nam during the Viet Nam War attaining the rank of Specialist 5th grade, Ordnance Company. Among his military medals is the Viet Nam Service Medal with 4 bronze service stars. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as The Assistant Operator with The Somerset Raritan Valley Sewage Authority.. He was of the Lutheran Faith. Martin was a member of The American Legion, Stevenson D’Alessio Post #12, Somerville, New Jersey, and held a Life membership with the National Rifle Association. In his spare time, he could be found watching the Pittsburg Pirates, the NFL, NASCAR, playing Racquetball, & fishing with his Uncle Tom. Surviving in addition to his wife is his daughter, Robin L. Dolinsky of Somerville, his son, Kenny M. Dolinsky of Woodbridge, his mother in law, Irene, sister in law Nancy, wife of Jeffrey Georgiana Sr., 2 cousins, Paul Dolinsky & his wife Lorraine & their daughter Alison, Barbara wife of Rick Pryor, a special niece Jessica McKim, & a nephew, Jeffrey Georgiana Jr. A special thank-you to Martin’s close friends; Augie O’Cassio, & Elias & Sharon Rodriguez for their love, friendship, & support. Martin was predeceased by a sister, Gloria Barich, & his sweet 12 year old daughter, Laura. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton, Pa. with the Reverend Marjorie H. Keiter officiating. Call 9:30-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment with full military honors under the direction of the Lehighton UVO & The VVOCC in St. John’s Slovak Lutheran Cemetery, Summit Hill, Pa.
