Mr. Leslie N. Schleicher

Mr. Leslie N. Schleicher, 62, of East Penn Township, passed away Wednesday, July 11th in Lehighton. Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Warren A Sr. & Jane K. (Leslie) Schleicher. He was currently a self-employed farmer  and previously was employed as a truck driver for Walgreen’s for 16 years and previously worked in the same capacity for Schleicher’s/East Penn Trucking. Leslie was a Life member of The Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Company and also held memberships with The East Penn Sporting Club, The Bowmanstown Rod & Gun Club, and The East Penn Hunting Club. Surviving is a daughter, Laura J., wife of Marton Konze of Palmerton, 2 sisters, Darlene Green of Bowmanstown,  Louise, wife of Edward Weiss, 3 brothers, David Schleicher, Todd Schleicher and his wife Karen, Warren Schleicher Jr.,  of East Penn Township, 2 grandsons, Alexander & Martin Konze of Palmerton, nieces & nephews. A Memorial Gathering for family & friends will be held on Tuesday, July 17th from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Company, 259 Lime Street, Bowmanstown, Pa. 18030.
