Mr. Joseph A. Pavlik Jr., 50, of Lehighton, passed away Thursday February 15th at The University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa. He was the husband of Sherry A. (Dotter) Pavlik. They were married for 22 years last June 9th, 2017. Born in Lehighton, he was the son of Joseph A. Sr. & Mary A. (Kressley) Pavlik of Lehighton. He was currently employed at the Times News/Pencor as a plate processor with over 30 years of service. He also managed his personal side business, Pavlik’s Vinyl Signs with his wife. He previously assisted with the family business, Joe’s Citgo on Bankway in Lehighton. Joe was a member of Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club & The Lehighton Oriole’s Nest #183. He loved watching NY Yankees baseball, Nascar racing, and bicycling the D & L trail. He enjoyed spending time with his family and swimming with his nieces in the family pool. Surviving in addition to his wife & parents is a sister, Nicole, wife of Ricky Bjorkman of Lehighton. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 20th at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with the Reverend Michael Frost officiating. Call 9:30-11 a.m. on Tuesday. Interment in The Lehighton Cemetery.
