Mr. Jerry L. Ahner, 52, of Palm Bay Florida, formerly of Franklin Township, Pa. passed away Tuesday, May 8th at his residence. He was the husband of Patty Ahner. Born in Franklin Township, Wednesday, September 8, 1965, he was the son of the late Harry & Margaret (Binder) Ahner. Jerry was a 1983 Lehighton Area High School graduate, Class of 1983. He previously worked for Stoves n Stuff, Tamaqua, Pa. and was currently employed by Hearth & Home/Mr. Fireplace in Florida. He was of the protestant faith. A family oriented person, he enjoyed spending time with his 2 loving daughters and playing a good round of Golf. Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 daughters, Jacque & Michelle Ahner of Florida, 2 sisters, Sally, wife of Woody Muffley of Lehighton, Barbara, wife of Thomas Holland of Moline, Illinois, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Candice Binder. Graveside Memorial Services will be held on Thursday evening, June 28th at 6 p.m. in The Long Run Cemetery, Franklin Township.
