Mr. Glenn B. Eisenhower Sr.

Mr. Glenn B. Eisenhower Sr., 86, of Mahoning Township, Pa. passed away December 24th at St. Luke’s Hospital-Lehighton. He was the husband of the late Eileen V. (Nolan) Eisenhower, who passed away, Sept. 20, 2002 and was the current companion of Irene Schoch of East Penn Township. Born in Lehighton, Pa. on Wednesday, December 13, 1933, he was a son of the late Harry E. & Ruth A. (Henry) Eisenhower Sr. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an ironworker for  Ironworkers Local 36, Easton, Pa. for many years. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Mahoning Valley, Pa. Glenn was a very active Sportsman/Outdoorsman/ Hunter. He held Life memberships with the Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club, Bowmanstown Rod & Gun Club, Andreas Sporting Club, Lehigh Fire Co. #1, & The Lehighton Orioles Nest #183. He also held memberships with The Western Pocono Sportsman’s Association & The East Penn Sporting Club. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia, wife of Larry Nothstein Of Palmerton, a son John “Chipper” Eisenhower & his wife Cindy of Summit Hill, 5 sisters, Margaret “Molly” Strohl of Lehighton, Jean, wife of Michael Litchauer of Lehighton, Charlotte, wife of Steve Skrabak of Arizona, Jeanette, wife of Robert Strausberger of Palmerton, Linda, wife of Dr. Horace Obert of Arizona, 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lori Moll on July 20th of this year, 2 sons, Glenn  B. Jr. in 2000, Mark P. in 2002, and a brother Harry E.  Jr. in 2016. Friends & Relatives are cordially invited to attend a Viewing/Visitation on Friday evening Dec. 27th at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton from 6-8 p.m. The interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
