Mr. Daniel E. Williams

Mr. Daniel E. Williams, 77, of Lehighton, passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side, Thursday evening, May 3rd at his residence. He was the husband of Kathleen E. (Kemmerer) Williams. They were married for 53 years last August 29th, 2017. Born in Summit Hill, Pa., he was a son of the late Earl & Stella (Lasky) Williams. He served our country with the US Army during Berlin Crisis as a Antiballistic Missile Operator attaining the rank of SP4, and held a membership with The Lehighton American Legion Post 314. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at the New Jersey Zinc Co., Palmerton as a furnace operator with 44 years of service, retiring in 2008. He leaves behind his loving wife Kathleen, 3 brothers, Earl & wife Barbara, Steven & wife Nancy, & Joseph, 3 sisters, Mary wife of James Oncheck, Catherine, wife of Jim Chapman, & Elizabeth Derau, his children; Steven and wife Connie, Lisa & husband Anthony, Lori & husband Thomas, & Daniel A., Granddaughters, Danielle, wife of Kristopher Nalesnik, Samantha Williams & fiancé, John Leary, Gabrielle Williams, Shelby Solomon and fiancé Austin Buchert, Emily & Kathryn Schlemmer, Kelsey & Halena Williams, & Grandson, Michael Williams. Great-grandchildren, Konner & Liliana Nalesnik, Juliana Williams, Jennifer Leary, & Ava Buchert, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Larry, John, Sister in law, Andrea Williams, nephews, Joey, Michael, Bobby, Anthony, & niece Kelly. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 19th at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church,  826 Mahoning Drive West, Lehighton Pa. with the Reverend Christopher DeForest officiating.  Memorial Contributions in his name may be made to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
