Marion Arlene (Zanders) Everett

Mrs. Marion Arlene Everett, 71, of Mahoning Township, passed away Saturday, October 6th at her residence with her family at her side. She was the wife of the late Eddie A. Everett who passed away, December 6, 2005. Born on Sunday, May 4th, 1947 in Beaver Run, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Harry G. & Elsie M. ( Searfass) Zanders. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at The Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center as a kitchen worker. Marion was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Packerton, Pa. A family oriented person, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, sewing, knitting, & playing BINGO. Surviving are 3 sons, Terry Everett & his wife Kelly, Thomas Everett & his wife Ann, Edward Everett & his wife Toni, all of Lehighton, 2 sisters, Doris Sheckler of Franklin Township, Jeanette Bunn of Nesquehoning, 7 grandchildren, Joshua, Samantha, Courtney, Shane, Alden, Lauren, Owen, 4 great-grandchildren, Gemma, Sage, Brynn, Brent, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by 4 sisters, Dorothy Bartholomew, Stella Zanders, Frieda Weaver, Caroline Snyder, and 3 brothers, Carl “Jack”, Earl, & Robert Zanders. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 10th at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 South 4th Street, Lehighton with the SALM Emma Weaver & the Reverend Christopher DeForest officiating. Call 9-11 a.m. Wed. at the funeral home. Interment in Dinkey Memorial Cemetery, Ashfield, Pa.
