Louise Ann Christman, 69, of Bowmanstown, passed away Sunday, Aug. 26th at St. Luke’s Hospital-Lehighton. Born in Coaldale she was the daughter of the late George W. & Marjorie L. (Lines) Fuschich. Louise worked in the garment industry and later for JC Penney & The Palmerton Hospital. She waitressed for 20 years at the Sunset Diner in Kresgeville, Pa. She was a member of Faith Alive UMC in Bowmanstown. An active member of the Lehighton Community, she volunteered her time with the Lehighton Downtown Revitalization Committee, The Lehighton Park Xmas Tree Program and The Lehighton Sesquicentennial Anniversary Committee. An art enthusiast, she sketched & contributed the Indian head logo used for the Lehighton Centennial in 1966. She held social memberships at The Lehighton Orioles Nest #183 and the Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club. Surviving is a daughter, Lori A. Rohlfing & her husband Mark Tappan of Lehighton, a stepson, Ivan Christman & his wife Roxanne of Palmerton, 3 grandchildren, George Rohlfing, Nathan Ohl, & Ivan Ohl. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday August 30th at 6 p.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with the Rev. Robert C. Timlin Sr. officiating. Call 5-6 p.m. Private Interment.
