Eleanor I. Eisenbach, 80, of 211 North 12th Street, Lehighton, passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 24th at the Gnaden Huetten Hospital. Born on Long Island, New York, she was raised by her grandparents , the late Harry & Mae Wagner. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a seamstress in the garment industry for Tom’s Sportswear, Barson & Bishop, & Scotty’s Fashions. She was of the protestant faith. Eleanor was a Life Member of Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club & held a membership at The Lehighton American Legion Post 314. Surviving are 2 daughters, Susan M. wife of Thomas Scott of Palmerton, Debra G., wife of Bernard Tkach of Lehighton, 4 grandchildren, Amanda, Thomas, Kristy, Nathaniel, 5 great-grandchildren, Macey, Alexander, Gabriel, Wesley, & Charlotte. A Graveside Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 27th at 11 a.m. in The Gnaden Huetten Cemetery, 4th & Union Streets, Lehighton with the Reverend Anthony P. Pagotto officiating. Memorial Contributions in her honor may be made to The Carbon County Animal Shelter, 63 Broad Street, Nesquehoning, Pa. 18240.
