Mrs. Janice L. (Ryman) Nothstein

Janice L. Nothstein, 59, of East Penn Township, passed into eternal rest on Friday, April 5, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of Brian E. Nothstein. They were married for 36 years last Oct. 24th, 2023. Born in Easton Pa. on Tuesday Sept. 1, 1964 she was the daughter of the late William & Daryle (Witmore) Ryman. Janice was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed crocheting, quilting, cooking & baking. She was a member of the Blue Mtn. Community Church where her expertise as a seamstress assisted with the costume creations for the Easter & Christmas plays. Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Sarah E. Nothstein of East Penn Township, a brother, Scott Ryman & his wife Michelle of Virginia, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by an infant son Andrew E. Nothstein Dec. 5, 1990. Funeral Services will be held on Wed. April 10 at 11 a.m. at Blue Mtn. Community Church , 25 Oak St. Palmerton, Pa. with the Rev. Jennifer Eckhart & Rev. Cliff Eckhart  officiating. Call 9:30-11 a.m. Wed. in the church. Interment following the service in Ben Salem Cemetery, East Penn Township, Pa. Memorial Contributions in her honor may be made to the church at 18071.
