Rita M. (Ritzauer) Hottenstein

Rita M. Hottenstein, 67 of Coal Street, Lehighton passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, Jan. 3rd at her residence. Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late William & Pauline(Hager) Ritzauer. She was last employed as a children’s day care worker for The Lehighton Day Care. Rita was a member of SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Lehighton. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her  pet Dalmation “Dixie” and as a hobby, collected  Dolls.  She is survived by a daughter Jill, wife of Todd Parsons, of Lehighton, 2 sons, Troy Hottenstein & his wife Melissa of Tamaqua, Marc Hottenstein and his wife Sarah of Lehighton, a sister, Barbara, wife of Arthur Hunsicker of Lehighton, 8 grandchildren, 1 step-grandson Hunter. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 9th at 10 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with the Reverend Michael E. Ahrensfield officiating. Call 9-10 a.m. on Monday. Interment in SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Lehighton, Pa.
