Mrs. Ruth Marie Frable

Mrs. Ruth Marie Frable, 89, formerly of 247 South 1st Street, Lehighton, passed away Sunday, June 4th at the Summit Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton, Pa. She was the wife of the late Martin A. Frable Sr. Born in Lake Minnewaska, Ellenville NY, she was a daughter of the late Admiral Nelson & Bertha (Empt) Donavan. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the garment industry for Scotty’s Fashions for many years. She was of the Lutheran Faith. She loved spending time with her family & babysitting her grandchildren. Surviving are 3 daughters, Barbara wife of Sterling Weaver of N. Carolina, Karen Hines of Franklin Township, Debra, wife of Gary Sauchinitz of Lehighton, 4 sons, Martin Frable Jr. of Lehighton, Ronald Frable of Franklin Township, Gary Frable & his wife Deborah of Lehighton, Kevin Frable & his wife Marie of Lehighton, a brother, Admiral Nelson Donovan Jr. & his wife Donna of NY, 13 grandchildren, 9 Great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Helen Donovan, & a brother, Duane Donavan. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 9th at 10 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with the Rev. Al Schneider officiating. Call 9-10 a.m. on Friday. Interment in Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery, Trachsville, Pa. Memorial Contributions in her honor may be made to The American Cancer Society, 101 W.
