Mrs. Phyllis Ann (Boyer) Webb

Mrs. Phyllis Ann Webb, 83, of Lehighton, passed away Thursday evening, May 11th at The Summit Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton, Pa. with her loving & caring family at her side. She was the wife of the late Clarence F. Webb Jr. who passed away October 22, 2007. Born in East Weissport, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Kermit & Ada (Hagenbuch) Boyer. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a sales clerk for the former GC Murphy Department Store in Lehighton with over 30 years of service. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Lehighton and held a membership in The Gnaden Huetten Chapter of The Order of the Eastern Star, Lehighton, Pa. She was a loving & supporting wife, mother & grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her  family. Surviving are 2 daughters, Diane M. Smith, Debra A., wife of Brian Fritzinger of Lehighton, a son, Clarence F. Webb III of Whitehaven, Pa., a brother, Phillip Boyer of Quakertown, 3 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, 3 nieces & 3 nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Ronald Smith Jr., 3 sisters, Patricia & Shirley Boyer, Gail Andrew, & 4 brothers, Boise, Bruce, William & Kermit Jr. Boyer. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 17th at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with the Rev. Dr. Jennifer Bannerman officiating. Call 9:30-11 a.m. Wed. at the funeral home. Interment in The Gnaden Huetten Cemetery, 4th & Union St., Lehighton, Pa.
